About Me

I have been meditating since 1997 and have studied with many different spiritual groups and Buddhist teachers. I began running local meditation groups in 2011 and continue to teach and practice within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. In 2018, I graduated from Coventry University with an MSc. in Mindfulness and Compassion and am now doing a PhD researching the effects of mindfulness for autistic people. In 2019, I had a systematic review published about the effects of mindfulness on empathy and compassion in children and adolescents. I qualified to teach the 8-week Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) in 2021 and the Compassion Based Living Course (CBLC) in 2022. I teach the general public, both face to face and online and have a special interest in teaching autistic and neurodivergent people. As an autistic person myself, I am now researching how mindfulness and self-compassion practice can help those on the spectrum develop great self-acceptance and wellbeing.
