About Me

I have been practicing mindfulness since 2014 and it is no small thing to say that this practice has totally changed my life. I found mindfulness during a very low time and to help my Mum gave me a book on mindfulness, which not only supported me to navigate myself through this time of challenge, but totally transformed the way I met life, with great ease, presence and compassion. Many hours of meditating, mindfulness courses and retreats later, I decided to train to teach mindfulness so I could share this beautiful, wise practice with others. In 2019-2021 I studied for two years at Bangor University to receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Mindfulness-Based approaches and am currently completing my training pathway through their sister organisation, The Mindfulness Network. I am trained to teach the evidence-based eight week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course (MBSR) which empirical research has shown to help skilfully manage a range of mental and physical difficulties, such as anxiety disorders, chronic pain, fibromyalgia. I am also a qualified yoga teacher, specialising in Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin and Pregnancy Yoga. I teach regular classes, courses and workshops both in-person in Cornwall and online. I also have a podcast called Meditation Inspiration where I interview meditators from around the world, to help inspire both new meditators and those with more experience to keep connected to their practice.
