After growing and developing my personal practice for many years I decided to train as a Mindfulness Teacher (MBCT) in 2019, with The Oxford Mindfulness Foundation. This training fuelled my curiosity to take my learning deeper, so in 2020 I enrolled on The University of Oxford's Masters in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. I was delighted to graduate with a distinction, and passed the higher level teaching qualification the MBI:TAC with 76%. My area of interest is using mindfulness to enhance and develop resilience and our mind body connection (I am also a Registered Osteopath). I teach MBCT online and in person to to the general population and those living with chronic pain. In addition I run regular workshops for a variety of people: teachers at a leading independent school, CPD events and conferences for physiotherapists and Osteopaths on how mindfulness can be helpful in their work. I regularly lead day and half day in-person retreats in Lewes, East Sussex for those wishing to explore mindfulness. I also volunteer at a local hospice (St Peter and St James, Chaily) offering mindfulness to those with a life limiting diagnosis.
