About Me

I am a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist working in brain injury rehabilitation, a Certified Mindfulness Practitioner, and a qualified MBSR teacher. My professional and teaching practice are rooted in over two decades of experience supporting individuals living with complex neurological and fatigue-related conditions. I developed the Mindfulness Informed Fatigue Management (MIFM) course to integrate the principles of mindfulness with evidence-based approaches. The programme offers a structured, compassionate framework to help participants better understand the relationship between awareness, pacing, and energy management. My approach is trauma-informed and relational, grounded in clinical understanding and compassion. I aim to create spaces that are safe, steady, and responsive to each participant’s needs, where mindfulness becomes more than a practice, offering a way to reconnect with the present moment, daily roles and routines, and a renewed sense of connection, agency, and meaning in life. I maintain a daily personal mindfulness practice, attend retreats, engage in supervision, and adhere fully to the BAMBA Good Practice Guidelines for Mindfulness Teachers.
