Becoming a BAMBA Member

To be listed on the BAMBA Teacher Register, applicants must have completed a teacher training pathway of at least one year in duration with one of our affiliated training organisations, leading to a qualification in one of our recognised mindfulness-based programmes (MBPs).

What you’ll need to provide when registering:

• Training completion – A certificate or official statement from your training organisation confirming completion of the relevant Mindfulness-Based Programme, Approach or Curricula
• Supervisor statement – A completed and signed statement from your supervisor. [Download a blank copy here].
• Insurance evidence – Proof of current insurance explicitly covering mindfulness teaching. Alternatively, a letter or email on company-headed paper from your employer confirming that their insurance covers you to deliver mindfulness as part of your role. If you work for the NHS, your NHS email address serves as evidence of insurance.

Important notes

• If you trained with the Mindfulness Association, you must provide a Course Completion Certificate.
• If you trained in T1 with Bangor University, you must provide evidence of having taught two courses or approaches that you have trained in under supervision.
