Renew Your Membership

To renew your BAMBA membership, simply log in [link to login] to your BAMBA account and select Manage Account in the top right-hand corner of your profile. Then click Renew Membership.

Log in

You will be asked to complete your renewal application and upload the following:

  1. Insurance Certificate
    A current certificate specifically covering mindfulness teaching.
    Alternatively, you may provide a letter from your employer confirming that you are covered under their insurance. If you work for the NHS, your NHS email address serves as evidence of insurance.
  2. Teaching Log
    A summary of your ‘with people’ mindfulness work delivered over the past year. This includes any mindfulness work involving direct contact with people, either face-to-face or online (e.g. training, teaching, or supervising others).
  3. Supervisor Statement
    An outline of the supervision you have received over the past 12 months. This can include individual, group, or peer supervision.
    • Peer supervision may count towards up to 50% of your overall supervision requirement.

    • If you are not actively teaching, one check-in with your supervisor within a 12-month period is sufficient.
    • If you are not actively teaching, one check-in with your supervisor within a 12-month period is sufficient.
  4. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
    Evidence of 30 hours CPD
  5. Retreats
    Evidence of 5 days of retreat practice for teachers and 7 days of retreat for supervisors.This may include:
    • Face-to-face teacher-led retreats
    • Online teacher-led retreats
    • Online recorded retreats
    • Self-guided retreats
    These retreat days do not need to be completed in one block.
  6. Profile Updates
    You may also update your profile and provide any additional information to support your renewal.

Final Step

Once all required information is uploaded and each section is marked as submitted, you will be prompted to pay the renewal fee of £60 to complete your renewal. Please note that you will not be able to submit your application if any mandatory fields are incomplete.
