About Me

Hello and welcome to my BAMBA profile, I am an experienced Mindfulness and Compassion teacher alongside my private practice as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. My Mindfulness practice has been under the guidance of internationally recognised teachers since 2008. I began teaching Mindfulness in a voluntary capacity in 2013 and then under supervision throughout the private, public and third-sectors from 2015, after completing the Mindfulness Teacher Training Retreat with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. Since then, I’ve been delivering retreats, courses, workshops and tasters, as well as refresher days and drop-ins for 8 week Mindfulness course graduates in-person and online as a private practitioner and as an Associate Mindfulness Teacher of Tenterden Mindfulness Group. I am also a Mindfulness Supervisor having trained with the Mindfulness Network, offering supervision to other Mindfulness teachers and 1:1 Mindfulness practice mentoring to course graduates. I completed further teacher training with the Mindfulness in Schools Project to deliver their .bF curriculum to educators and with the Mindfulness Network to become a Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living teacher. I am registered with BAMBA to teach MBCT/MBSR and with MBCL International to teach their 8 week MBCL course and integrate it's themes and practices into my clinical work. I continue to attend regular retreats, workshops, teachings and master classes throughout the year in various contexts, to help maintain and deepen my own personal practice and in turn improve my teaching. I also co-founded RUN:ZEN's Mindfulness for Runners, with my colleague and fellow Mindfulness teacher Stuart McLeod, which integrates Mindfulness in stillness and movement through the medium of running in workshop, course and retreat formats. RUN:ZEN thus combines the mental and physical health benefits of Mindfulness with cardiovascular exercise. In 2013, I set up a not-for-profit group, Bodhicharya Kent, where I have been providing weekly classes in Mindfulness meditation and mind-training to the local community on a voluntary basis. I also helped set up the UK charity Bodhicharya UK in 2020, which serves as an umbrella charity for the Rochester group and its related groups. I am the currently the Chairperson for the charity. My previous professional training and experience was as a Secondary School Teacher, and then as a Team-Leader and Manager in the Employability, Education and Training department within a Kent based prison and later as a Drug and Alcohol Worker within two additional prisons in Kent. As a result of my training and experience, I can provide the following: > Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) 8 Week Course > Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)/ Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) hybrid 8 Week Course > Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living (MBCL) 8 Week Course > Finding Peace in a Frantic World 8 Week Course > Mindfulness in Schools Project's .bF 8 Week Course > Mindfulness Supervision > Mindfulness practice mentoring > RUN:ZEN's Mindfulness for Runners curriculum > Bespoke Mindfulness and Compassion taster sessions, workshops, courses and retreats suited to your or your organisation's needs I am passionate about sharing the many benefits that Mindfulness and Compassion training has to offer to the best of my ability wherever there is an interest. Kind wishes, Cesare.
