About Me
Anna Dóra Frostadóttir is a mindfulness and self-compassion teacher and the director of the Mindfulness Centre in Reykjavík, Iceland. With a background as a clinical psychologist and a social worker at the National University of Iceland (2005-2007) and as a high-intensity therapy worker within the NHS (2008-2011). She completed the MSc in Mindfulness-Based Approaches at the Bangor University in 2016. In 2019, she completed her training as a Certified MSC teacher at the University of California San Diego and in 2020 as a Trained MBCT/MBSR teacher at the Bangor University. She has been a registered supervisor at the Mindfulness Network since 2019, offering supervision to Icelandic mindfulness trainees only. Anna Dóra also teaches mindfulness and compassion at the University of Reykjavík.
