About Me

I am passionate about the benefits mindfulness can offer in improving wellbeing and developing emotional intelligence to help people live their lives with intention, meaning, awareness and insight. I first developed an interest in mindfulness, over 10 years ago, when I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Cultivating a consistent mindfulness practice was invaluable in helping me manage pain, develop resilience and improving the quality of my life. Gradually, I started to notice the benefits in other areas of my life e.g. in personal relationships and the workplace etc. Mindfulness enables me to bring more awareness, intention and ease into my life, helping me to choose how I relate and respond to my thoughts and emotions rather than impulsively reacting. My practice has become increasingly important leading to me undertaking formal mindfulness train with Breathworks, becoming accredited in June 2022. I now offer 8 week Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Health courses, themed workshops and personal practice mentoring to the general public either online or face to face.. My teaching style is grounded in empowering participants to develop their awareness and identify sustainable techniques to help them navigate life’s challenges with compassion. Beyond my mindfulness practice and offering, I love travelling, going to gigs, tending to my plants and eating out.
