Mindful Self-Care for High-Stress, Time-Pressured Workplaces

In high-pressure, fast-paced workplaces, such as healthcare, education, social care, legal settings, and third-sector organisations, stress can feel unavoidable. But mindfulness and compassion can be powerful tools to support well-being, resilience, and performance.

We’re delighted to welcome Bridgette O’Neill, Christina Shennan, Sarah Millband, and Phoebe Roman from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University for this interactive session, where they will share:

✔️ Key considerations in working in high stress environments
✔️ Theoretical understandings informing self-care
✔️ Research insights into workplace mindfulness and its impact.
✔️ Practical self-care strategies to use immediately.
✔️ An example of how to effectively assess the impact of a workplace programme and contribute to the evidence base

Expect an interactive session, including guided practices and the opportunity to ask questions. You’re welcome to submit questions in advance to help shape the discussion.
