I have been teaching Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy since 2012 in an NHS IAPT/Talking Therapies setting, alongside my role as Cognitive Behaviour Therapist. I am a trained teacher, having completed the CMRP Bangor University and Mindfulness Network pathway. Following completion of the CMRP Bangor supervisor course in 2018, I have supervised both trainee and trained MBCT teachers individually and in groups. In December 2023 I left the NHS and am teaching mindfulness in a broader wellbeing context in the local community, whilst continuing to offer supervision alongside developing my MBCT knowledge and skills. Being lucky enough to live in Cumbria, nature is an important part of my own practice and I spend as much time outdoors as I can. I enjoy outdoor swimming, poetry and learning more about mindfulness based approaches. I am able to be very flexible in my availability for teaching and supervising.
