Karen is an accredited mindfulness teacher and trainer with Breathworks, a leadership coach, and restorative justice facilitator. Karen delivers tailored mindfulness programmes for the workplace and offers guidance and knowledge to help organisations establish and foster a culture of wellbeing, mental resilience and good mental health. She teaches 8-week mindfulness for stress and mindfulness for chronic pain management courses to the general public. Her coaching approach focuses on creating time and space for clients to embrace change, to reflect on their purpose and values, their inner life: feelings, triggers, fixed beliefs, biases, motivations, impulses, actions, mind-set and attitude. Karen specialises in working with clients in natural settings tapping into the beneficial impact nature has on our psychological, spiritual, emotional and physical wellbeing. She trained in restorative facilitation, a particular mediation approach, to help people in conflict repair relationships and find a way forward together. Karen is a member of the British Association for Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA), a member of the Association for Coaching and the British Restorative Justice Council. She has worked with clients such as: Southeastern Trains, University of London, Kew Gardens, Deloitte, Weber Shandwick, McMillan Education, Ascend Global Media, United for Global Mental Health, The Royal Town Planning Institute, Unison Union and others. Karen is from Hamburg, Germany, and has lived in London for 22 years. She feels most content and creative when she is on a long solo walk in nature.
