Communities: MBCT-Ca
Mindfulness for Cancer (MBCT-Ca) Community – Special Interest Group
MBCT-Ca is BAMBA’s Mindfulness for Cancer Community, welcoming all those already teaching or who have an interest in teaching Mindfulness for Cancer (MBCT-Ca) – an 8-week mindfulness course by Trish Bartley’s used to support cancer patients and carers as well as those with other life-threatening conditions, such as Covid-19.
We run monthly sessions whereby our aim is to create a safe and supportive online space where we practice, discuss and reflect on our needs as teachers.
Each session opens with a period of lightly guided practice. We then hear the thoughts and reflections of an experienced practitioner on the nominated topic for the session before sharing questions and discussions. Ideas for topics for future sessions are very welcome.
Dates for your diary:
Thursday 20th April – 7pm-8.15pm (UK Time)
Topic: The Viscous Cycle of Anxious Preoccupation (Week 4) – Insights with Trish Bartley
