Have you:

• Completed a training that meets the criteria set out in the GPGs in one of the MBPs covered by BAMBA?
• Got a certificate or statement from your training organisation to confirm training completion in the relevant MBP?
• Discussed your application with your supervisor?
• Got ready the supervisor statement which has been completed and signed by your supervisor?
• Ensured that you are familiar with the GPGs and follow them?
• Got ready your evidence of compliance with the criteria set out in the GPGs and associated FAQs? (Dates of two supervised teaching courses, relevant supervision dates, retreat details and CPD)
• Got evidence of insurance cover that is current, and that explicitly states that it covers mindfulness teaching? Or an email / letter from your employer on company headed paper confirming that your employer’s insurance covers you to deliver mindfulness as an employee?
• Decided which contact details and information for your profile you want displayed on the BAMBA website if your application is successful?

Please provide a summary of your mindfulness work for your profile on the public register.

When creating your teacher profile, there is a maximum of 500 characters available which allows you to create a short piece of insight about you for your audience.

Please include the following detail in your profile:

• Your experience (state the year you started teaching from. Avoid using phrases such as 'I have been teaching for 5 years' as this will change year on year).
• The programmes you will be registered with BAMBA to teach
• The setting you teach in (general public, clinical, workplace etc).
• Your delivery channel (online and/or face to face)
• Anything else that you might want to include that is professional in context.
• You do not need to include your name, contact details, email or website as this is all included in your teacher profile.

We ask our members to take extra care on grammar when completing their profile. This is a professional site, please spell check your profile prior to uploading.

Acceptable Evidence of Insurance:

• A copy of your insurance which specifically details mindfulness as one of the activities covered.
• A letter/email from your employer on company headed paper confirming that your employer’s insurance covers you to deliver mindfulness as an employee*.

*For NHS employees who have difficulty obtaining the above evidence, please provide confirmation that includes the following:

• Declaration that all your mindfulness work is within the NHS.
• Confirmation that your role includes offering mindfulness. An email from your manager would be sufficient.
