About Me

I am a recently qualified mindfulness teacher (beginning 2023). I have worked in the NHS for over 20 years non-clinically; for the most part in workforce development and online learning. I have witnessed how staff commit long hours to work, wrestle with numerous conflicting priorities, are often overwhelmed and constantly in ‘doing’ mode. For this reason, I began to lead short mindfulness sessions to support my colleagues. These highlighted to me how much mindfulness could offer. High levels of stress and anxiety are not just reserved for people working in the health sector; the pace and volume of modern-day work has effects on people working across all sectors. Which is what motivated me to train to become a mindfulness teacher of the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme. I currently offer an online MBSR open to all.
